Born in Holland and having lived in many countries of the world gives me the advantage of a more international look on dressing styles.

I have a great passion for designing beautiful gowns, which are different, and not readily available in the shops.

Years ago, I worked abroad as a designer of evening/party wear for pregnant ladies, more recently I changed direction and focus mainly on brides and mother of the bride/groom.

In small shops overseas, I find the most luxurious handmade beaded laces and speciality fabrics, making the dress even more unique.

Many years of experience in the needle craft arts enables me to create designs which incorporate silk ribbon embroidery, silk flower corsages, appliquŽs from lace and traditional sewing techniques.

Planning

At least 7 months prior to your wedding with your first appointment, you can share your initial ideas, photos etc. I will be sketching your ideas and help you visualise your dream wedding gown. We will need at least one hour to explore all the options like fabric choices, added embellishments, petticoats etc. We will also discuss the time frame.

For mother of the bride/groom I offer a designing and couture service.

Pricing

Wedding gowns: depending on the complexity of the gown, prices start at $2.300.

Mother of the Bride: prices from $980.

Made-to-Measure gowns require a deposit of 25% of the sum of the quotation at confirmation of order, the second tranche of 25% is due at first fitting, third tranche of 25% is due at the second fitting. Balance due upon completion.

The quotation remains valid for 14 days from the date of despatch.
